Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. Parsing and rendering run entirely in your browser — the file bytes never leave your device.
Can I copy text from the output PDF?
Yes. The output is text-level: selectable, copyable and searchable, with fonts embedded (subsetted) so it opens correctly on any device.
Is .doc supported?
Not yet — save the legacy .doc as .docx in Word / WPS first.
Will complex layouts break?
Common paragraphs, headings, bold, alignment, tables and images render correctly; headers/footers, WordArt/SmartArt and text boxes are not yet supported — preview after download.
Does it paginate automatically?
Yes — by the document page size (A4 by default), and explicit page breaks (Ctrl+Enter) are honored.
Why does the first run download a font?
To output copyable CJK text the PDF embeds a subset of a CJK font (~10MB, fetched once from the jsDelivr CDN, then cached). Your document is never part of that download.
